In case you haven’t heard, the MUSIC FESTIVAL SEASON IS HERE!  One of the (if not THE) largest is Bonnaroo, a festival that takes place June 7-10 in Manchester, TN.

Despite the scorching Tennessee sun, lack of sleep a four day music festival brings, and fact that most camping facilities are close to an hour away from the festival grounds, the lineup of kick ass bands and musicians once again makes this a worthwhile trek.   Let’s take a closer look at the performers…

Bands that are known as “sounding better live” usually set the bar for these events.  With Radiohead, the bar is set very high.

Fresh off their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame comes Anthony Kiedis, Flea, and company to play their classics as well as fresh hits from their latest album titled “I’m With You.”

Two full sets and one of the greatest light shows you will see on stage.  A must see!

Anyone not stopping by to see this band will be doing your inner self a huge disservice.  The Beach Boys are a national treasure, even if John Stamos is there.

If you feel the need to “slow it down a little”, this works perfectly.  Also, if you are looking to break into tears for unknown reasons, give Bon Iver a listen.

It’s their big return!  This is like Kill Bill 2 for The Shins, without all of the blood.

?uestlove and company will bring the house down.  It’s The Roots guarantee!

Other acts bands include Black Star, Alabama Shakes, St. Vincent, Young Giant, Punch Brothers, The Devil Makes Three, and many more…  What’s great about Bonnaroo is the diversity among the acts and the level of greatness they all share.  SO…GET YOUR TICKETS and GET YOUR ASS TO TENNESEE!

In addition to music, Comedy Central is once again partnering with Bonnaroo and will have fifteen comedians performing during the festival.  Among the fifteen includes Aziz Ansari, Amy Schumer, Steven Wright, Brian Posehn, and Judah Freidlander.

FOUR DAYS OF MUSIC AND COMEDY ALL IN ONE PLACE!  Who’s going?  Let us know and stop back for reviews and comments on Bonnaroo 2012!
